Apsley House

St Edward's School in Summertown, Oxford is a co-educational boarding and day school, boasting a 100 acre estate with a wide array of on-site facilities and buildings. This particular project is located within the central grounds of the campus.

The scheme consists of refurbishment and extension to a boarding accommodation block, along with the construction of a new Passivhaus dwelling intended for staff accommodation. Mechanical installations include Underfloor Heating, Ventilation, Domestic Hot & Cold Water Services, Sanitaryware and Drainage.

Electrical installations include Low Voltage Distribution, Internal and External Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Small Power, Mechanical Power Supplies & Controls, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Data and Lightning Protection. Renewable / Innovative solutions are provided via an Air Source Heat Pump and Photovoltaic Array.
